SMALL GROUP TRAINING
Small group training consists of 2-4 people who want to work together with a trainer. This is a great cost effective way to get the results that are catered to your groups' wants and needs.

MIDDLE SCHOOL STRENGTH TRAINING
Weight Room Orientation Class for 12, 13 & 14 year olds who would like access to the SMB & Free Weight Rooms. Staff will provide knowledge needed to use the facility independently and responsibly. The orientation will highlight the correct use of cardiovascular equipment, proper weight lifting techniques, strength training principles, safety rules at the Y along with the Y's behavior expectation and more. A personalized fitness plan will be given to the student upon completion of the orientation.
Pre-registration is required. Payment in full is due at registration.

3:30 FIT CLUB
Join this free program and get a free membership for a year!
The 3:30 Fit Club is for 6th grade students that want to have fun
and be active after school. Participating in this program will help students burn off extra energy, tone and tighten muscles, and learn about living a healthy lifestyle. After completing a session of the 3:30 Fit Club, students receive a free membership to the Y for one year! Sign up at the Y. This program is also known as the Middle School Health and Wellness Project.
This program ends with the school year but will continue in the fall once school starts. For more information call Susie Hulst at the Y, 507-373-8228.

Deep Water Workout
Because this class is done in the deep water, zero impact is experienced by the joints. Intermediate and advanced levels. No swimming experience is needed, a float belt can be worn.

Swimnastics
Enjoy a refreshing workout as you tone and strengthen muscles and increase flexibility. This shallow water class enables you to exercise with less strain and impacts on joints.

Joints in Motion
This water exercise class is for any age male or female that experiences mobility issues such as arthritis, MS, or injuries. The low impact movements and range of motion exercises will keep your body healthy and your joints moving.

This class is the advanced more intense version of the joints in motion class. Class includes range of movement exercises, low and high impact movements, intensity intervals, and strength training. Keep your body moving and healthy!

Boot Camp Stations
Stations are set up to alternate between cardio and weight
training. Come for a total body high intensity workout!

CSI: Cardio Strength Interval
Alternate segments of cardio and strength training exercises and you got one great workout! Get in as many reps as you can (or care to) in each time segment and modify each exercise to your liking; this is why all levels are welcome! No dance-like
choreography, just exercise.

Fired Up
This high energy, non-stop workout combines blocks of high intensity intervals, total body weight training, kickboxing, and step to torch calories and sculpt your body. Some choreography.

Healthy for Life
A simple but efficient workout designed for the beginner or returning exerciser. This 50-minute total body workout includes cardio and strength training. This class is the 2nd pillar of Hy-Vee's Healthy For Life program. Healthy For Life is a 12 week program that meets twice a week; once at Hy-Vee for a healthy eating class and once at the Y for this group fitness class. Contact Susie for more information.

Jump start your weekend with a great workout! Sample a different instructor and a different workout every Saturday. Instructors will vary their routines and keep you guessing, but we do guarantee a great
balance of cardio and strength training!

Kettlebells
Take part in one of the latest and most popular fitness crazes. In a small group setting, your instructor will guide you through a series of power and momentum based movements that will get your heart pumping and your muscles burning. This is an intense cardio and strength training workout rolled into one. Classes are either 30 or 45 minutes.

Lean Body Strength Training
Strength training for the entire body! The first 30 minutes
alternates between the body's major muscle groups. The last
15 minutes includes floor work – anything from Pilates and yoga to resistance ball and mat work. *It's recommended that you warm up for 5-10 minutes prior to class.

No Limits Cardio
This class combines kickboxing, step, high intensity intervals & traditional high impact for a total cardio blast. Some choreography included. Class concludes with floor work and a final stretch.

A 45 minute workout for basic muscle strength, flexibility and range of motion.

Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Yoga
Tighten and tone the body, enhance balance, improve flexibility and build core strength through different yoga poses and focused breathing. This mid-body workout improves health, athletic performance and mental acuity in people of all ages and fitness levels!

Indoor Cycling
Your instructor will simulate a group ride as you travel on flat roads, climb hills, chase the pack, or race to the finish line! All levels welcome.
