Youth Enrichment at the Y

We understand the importance of youth development because the youth are our future. That’s why we offer a wide variety of programs designed to grow their knowledge, confidence, and communication skills. From sports and camps to educational workshops and social activities, our programs are dedicated to empowering young people to reach their full potential.

Outdoor Experience – Partnership

In partnership with Freeborn County 4-H, youth have the opportunity to learn and take part in a variety of activities like gardening.

Youth In Government

Youth In Government®, a national YMCA program, empowers students from every corner of the U.S. by giving them the opportunity to learn about—and experience—government policies and methodologies firsthand.

Teen Program

Thanks to a generous grant from Mayo Health Systems, select grades have FREE access to the YMCA teen programs and program areas during the school year.

Youth Sports

When kids play Y-Sports, they develop more than just skills— they develop values like Respect, Responsibility, Honesty and Caring. Everyone plays, and everyone wins!
