Swimming at the Y is about developing healthy habits that last a lifetime.

We offer a wide range of swimming options for the whole family, including swim lessons, water aerobics exercise classes, and competitive swim team. You’ll also find traditional open swim and lap swim times available. At the Y, swimming is a positive, fun activity that builds healthy habits, family connection and even life-saving skills.

Swimming Lessons

The YMCA has long been America’s favorite swimming instructor. We help swimmers overcome fears, build confidence in the water and develop skills that last a lifetime. YMCA youth swimming lessons are presented in a student-centered environment by well-trained instructors.

Water Classes

By utilizing the natural resistance of water, participants of our classes can improve strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health without the strain of traditional exercises. Dive into our aquatic fitness classes and enjoy a refreshing, low-impact workout.

Tiger Sharks

Tiger Sharks is a competitive swim team that focuses on teamwork, sportsmanship, achievement, and fun! Swimmers, ages 5-17, build strength, speed and endurance while refining their stroke technique in our Tiger Sharks program while being given a competitive swim opportunity.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

This course gives participants the skills and knowledge needed to become certified lifeguards. Whether it’s your first job or a way to give back in retirement, lifeguarding skills are always heavily sought after.
